First section
General provisions§ 1
Material scope

(1) This Act regulates fishing in surface and flowing waters.

(2) Standing waters within the meaning of this Act are water accumulations without permanent, natural and above-ground runoff and dams. All other bodies of water are considered flowing waters.

(3) This Act shall not apply to1.

waters belonging to the immediate house and living area, and2.

as long as they are not used for angling.
